Electoral socialization therefore consists of an electoral process which encompasses a certain number of aspects aimed at a greater participative opening of the actors as well as their roles in a democracy and/or a country which aimes to be democratic, which implies for this purpose, the major issues that it does or must face.
Electoral socialization, which encompasses the processus by which citizens acquire their political identity and their civic commitment, has therefore become essential to ensure a stable and participative democracy in the DRC.
Indeed, this article provides an analyzing not only the challeges of an electoral socialization for citizen political participation to face the electoral process, but also and above all identify and assess the roles of socialization actors (stakehlders in the process), and the determinants relating to the political evolution of the DRC.
